About this blog

Our daily treasures blog came after a year of not blogging. I realized I missed my camera. I missed seeing my children through the lens. I missed the opportunities blogging gave me to see my life in a more thankful way.

I live in the south with my husband, Steve and seven of our nine children.  Our oldest son is recently married to the love of his life and our second son Andrew is serving a full time mission in Brazil!

I recently quit teaching kindergarten.  I could write daily about the joys and challenges that come with teaching five year olds to read. I loved  my job and thankful for the opportunity to teach. It was  a blessing for our family for me to be at the school with our children. But,  because being a teacher doesn't allow a financial ladder to climb, I was in search of an extra business. I love to set financial goals so I joined an amazing company  called It works global. It completely changing my life. The company is debt free and they encourage others to become debt free as well. I was afraid to jump into something new since I have tried so many things in the past but after lots of research I discovered tons of other adoption mothers just like me that worked a full time job and now have financial freedom through this company.  In thirty days the wraps are changing my life and my budget! My only regret is not signing up faster! solomon wrappers

This company has given me freedom and allowed me to come home full time and be with my children. It has given me back freedom to do what I LOVE To do!!!

I love (in no particular order)....Sunday naps, sitting on the porch rocking, camping, the beach, my family, being a mom, hot chocolate, football games, sweat shirts, watching movies, candles, my mom's homemade bread, seeing a child light up when he learns to put letters together to make a word, pajama pants and t-shirts, little girls with braids, golden doodle dogs, and  best friends. I love to serve with homeless groups and mostly work with the children. I love family pictures, double dates with my husband and friends, and adoption.  My greatest blessing is being a mom and wife. Life isn't always great. Some days I want to pull my hair out but then there are days when I close my eyes at night in exhaustion and I realize how much God has blessed me and loves me.
